not just stories, but small publications about several topics that might interest you, as a collector of west-german pottery, a scheurich fan or whatever..
the first two, about Scheurich pottery decorations in the 1960's and 1970's and the wallplate with no name, have now been 'published'.
This monologue tries to tackle the decoration problem with Scheurich vases in the 1960's and 1970's.
We got stung by the fact that not that much is known about eventual names for decorations and, collecting Scheurich for some years, we were tired of describing them all the time; ' you know, it is the one with the red and the green and a stripe of blue, yellow and black, have you got something like that, you know what i mean ? '.
This is our approach, and we do not consider the outernational monologue I to be complete ( that is were the version A stands for) now, and hope that several versions will follow.
We could use some spare names for decors, since the most of them bear fantasy names (and there will be at least a hundred more) !
In the link below you can download outernational monologue I.
The outernational monologue II is about the 7 aspects that bring you to build up your knowledge about west-german pottery and in the meantime discovering that the plate with no name, as stated in H. Makus books "50-er Jahre Keramik" and "Keramik der 50er Jahre" finally can be stated as recovered.
